post tour blues + little info
salut les friends
we have been home since almost a full week now and it is not nice to not be on tour. However, the reminder of the tour was also quite absolutely very awesome, crazy styles. SO, here's another list of things that happened and then way down below some news:
- we played music in Graz, Vienna, Bratislava, Linz, Salzburg and Munich.
- we drove over a mountain pass and looked at nice mountains.
- we swam (in a real alpine lake, an artificial lake and in a river).
- we saw absent from the morning headcount (one too few times).
- we ate scrumptious breakfast (multiple times).
- we ate crazy awesome noodles (thank you forever, Maxi).
- we did karaoke.
- we witnessed an absolutely heartwarming last day of the last Salzburger Pestspiele, including the most punk concert ever by different SBG-ALL-STARS.
- we looked at schönbrunn and over vienna and ran up a hill.
- we had to say goodbye to the Plastic Bags :((((((((( .
- WE MADE MEMORIES WITH FRIENDS FOREVER.
- WE WERE AND STILL (obv) ARE VERY GRATEFUL TO EVERYONE WHO PUT ON A SHOW, MADE US FOOD, GAVE US A PLACE TO SLEEP, DID SOUND AND LENT US THEIR EAR! diy-music forever <3
On a serious note though, we really can't say thank you enough to each person who took time out of their day, went out of their way and made space for us – be that booking a band they actually didn't know, helping run a show just because, mixing bands, putting their work aside or coming to a random emo-show by random bands. It is extraordinary what people do for music without any sort of material or social or other measurable gain. We are full of love for screamo, emo, music and the diy!
NEWS
We are gonna play at Bahnhöfli in Biel on First of August. No heart for a nation, celebrate squats and subculture instead.!
There's gonna be some other concerts in fall as well, so take a look here from time to time.
